Functional Packaging Concept
Designed to solve a simple problem: not everybody who receives flowers has a vase to hold them. This is especially relevant for those who have not yet put down roots, which is increasingly common for young people who comprise a large portion of the dating pool.
The card is designed to be a solution for the recipient of the flowers to easily display the flowers since the card deploys into a vase by just pulling the string. A jar or small cup of water can be placed under the vase for increased longevity.
Sustainable Packaging Concept
Tennis balls, which are an ecological disaster themselves, also come in single use plastic containers that are often crimped with metals making recycling functionally impossible.
As an extension of the concept first pioneered by Wilson Triniti, a paper package utilizing knurled folds for structural integrity is proposed.
