Cirkul Plus
Handling CO2 safely is a surprisingly difficult mechanical problem as the release of CO2 from its tank, and its subsequent rapid expansion can create 800PSI of pressure. This is a critical feature to get right for a device such as the Cirkul Plus that is shuttling CO2 around multiple chambers. As an alternative to the TR21-4 "standard" on the Sodastream tanks I pitched, prototyped, and proved that a quick connect with blind insertion capabilities was viable and valuable.
Testing
During my time at Cirkul, extensive amounts of work were being done to onshore with new manufacturers, scale, and bring automated assembly in house. To assist in this massive effort, I devised new fixtures, wrote new test methods, executed thousands of tests, and ran statistical analysis to qualify new procedures, new materials, and new manufacturers.
